Wow! Bedroom Approach to Article Writing

The skinny on great articles for article marketing

Article marketing is the new way to promote products nowadays. After all, what better way to reach the target market than to produce materials that directly affect them and articles that they can directly relate too?

For instance, if you have a product that treats diabetes, one way to reach your market and reach your target audience is to write articles that will benefit them like tips on how to prevent increase in sugar levels.

This is especially true with the range that the internet has brought us. With the faster connection and the amount of information that one can get with a single click of the mouse, more and more people are starting to recognize the importance that article marketing in raising the awareness of consumers.

In recent years that article marketing has gone online, it has not only been used to promote products and services over the internet but also in promotion of the site itself.

Site owners use the articles that they have in their sites to increase their ranking in search engines like Yahoo and Google. The more articles they have that correspond to the keyword being searched on, the better their ranking will be in the search results.

This is done not only to increase the viewers that will be able to look at the sites but also the advertisements that will be placed on the site. More viewers and visitors of the sites will also mean more advertisements on the sites.

This will mean more revenues for the site as they get a percentage for every person who will click on the advertisements.

But the spread of articles in the internet has lowered the quality of the posted works. More and more articles are being posted without proper editing.

There are many articles that have wrong spelling and wrong grammar.  Some will be copied verbatim while other articles will only get the essence of the piece.

But you don’t have to sacrifice quality over quantity. Even with a lot of articles to do, you can create great articles. Here are some tips on how to do it.

1. Write as if you are talking to your readers

The best way to make your articles easy to read is to make it conversational. Write the articles in such a way that you talking to your readers. This way, they will be able to relate more with the article and absorb the piece.

2. Use simple words

There is no sense in using words that can only be found in the dictionary. After all your readers are not scholars who have a wide vocabulary. Articles that use complicated words are also boring to read and hard to understand. By using simple words, you can create a connection with your reader’s right there and then. That way, you will be able to accomplish what you came out to do, inform readers and promote your product and site. Besides, if they did not like the article, will they be coming back to your site?

3. Write short articles

You are not writing a novel. With online content, shorter is better as most people who use the net will have really short attention spans. They will not have the time or the patience to weed through the additional words that you added just to lengthen the article. As much as possible, make short succinct articles that go straight to the point.

For the first time ever, the answer you have been looking for. Today we are going to talk about curiosity. All creatures are curious…especially humans. We explore our world not respond to it. Look under rocks, pull back curtains, and poke sticks into things.

In this article you will discover how to hold your prospect interest until you can get your sales message delivered. Our passion for discovery is so powerful that you can use it to allure consumers “deeper” into your copy.

Most people hate advertising so much they won’t open any e-mail or read any post if they think you are trying to sell them something, unless you arouse they’re curiosity.

When asked why they’re making a purchase, people say they’re motivated by one of these five key emotions:

Fear of Loss

Desire for Gain

Desire for Comfort

Pride

Desire for Personal Satisfaction

When people talk about the basic needs in the 21st century in general, they are talking about Food, Clothing, Shelter, and Love.  As well as avoiding pain and seeking pleasure. Present-day humans are now free to expand their “gotta have it” list to include…the need to exchange of information and knowledge. (Blogs)

If you marketing message can contacts these basic needs then selling your products or services is going to be a SNAP. Better still if you can satisfy more than one you are cooking with gas.

To show you how this stuff works here is an example, this company sells a kit to clean your silverware: it’s time for you to take off your marketing cap and put on your consumers hat.  Read the pair of unique positioning statements below and decide which product you’d buy.

“Brand X”Silverware Cleaning Kit

“Do you want to learn what you can do to make old worn-out silverware look like new again?”

Widget Silverware Cleaning Kit

“Discover how professionals transform old junk into shiny new looking silverware with an amazing product that’s finally available to consumers.”

When you read the question posed on the Brand X it’s easy to say, “No, I don’t want to learn something” and DELETE the offer.  Case closed.  Sale lost.

The Widget offer, however, packs a powerful emotional punch — actually — that’s a real knockout.  Let’s break it down.

Your need for knowledge is aroused by the word “discover” We’re all curious creatures who want to know more

Your need for trust is stimulated by the word “professionals” We’re skeptical of what advertisers may say, but we trust the opinions of professionals in a given field.

Your need for greed (a natural instinct) you can use this product to make money like the dealers.

Crazy Things You Don’t Know About Blogging

Blogs are a fantastic way to make money.  They perform well in search engines, they’re easy to promote, and they can offer very sticky content.  If you blog often, and you’re good at what you do, you could develop a pretty large following of readers who subscribe to your RSS feed and read your content on a daily basis.

One of the biggest keys to success with blogs is posting in them regularly.  If you don’t post regularly, you probably won’t get much traffic, and people won’t return.  Posting frequently also keeps your content fresh, and search engines love fresh content.

The more often you post, the more often the spiders will visit your site.  And every time you post, you can ping your site at the various ping locations.  This can also bring in more traffic.

Another major key to blog success is creating sticky content.  This means you have to write posts that people will actually be interested in reading.

Readers probably don’t care what you had for dinner, unless you’re John Chow or you’re running a food blog.  They want to read about stuff related to your niche.  If you’re running a blog about golfing, at least 75% of your posts should be related to golf.  Preferably 100%.

You should talk about golf courses you’ve recently played on, tournaments you’ve watched, and clubs you’ve tried.  You might occasionally post about family matters, or your dog, or your favorite restaurant as a way to connect on a more personal level with your readers, but most of your posts should be on target with your niche.

Blogs are great for people who sell services.  If you’re a graphics designer or writer, having a blog is a good way to keep in touch with your clients.  You can offer updates on your schedule and availability, current prices and special offers, and when you’ll be taking some time off.

You can also post samples of your latest work. If you have a number of clients subscribe to your RSS feed, you’ll be able to keep in contact with them so they’ll order from you more often.

People also tend to follow blogs more carefully than websites.

Don’t start a blog with the intention of letting it sit dormant and earn money.  It probably won’t work.  If you’re going to start a blog, you need to be prepared to commit yourself to growing the blog, posting often, keeping it updated, and not giving up on it.

They offer multiple selling opportunities – from text links woven throughout the content to image ads like banners you strategically place in between blog posts.  The sidebar can also be utilized as affiliate or direct sales revenue space.

Make sure you take the time to transfer your blog over to your own domain instead of hosting it within the blogging community. This makes it more professional to the person who lands on your website and lends credibility to your efforts as the go-to person in your niche.
