In order to make money online you have to stop following the wrong business model. Most marketers depend on their livelihood going from launch to launch and product to product. After reading this post you’ll know how to show your superiority.

You’ve probably heard or read that in order to make money online you have to create your own product. I agree with this statement, up to a point.

If that were true then you might as well be working. And that is what we want to avoid, work.  The purpose of this note is to provide a framework for proving a measurable and repeatable sales process that provides timely feedback on the performance of your start-up online business.

You are starting the most critical phase of the online existence. This is where you finally get to see the match between product/service and the market. The classic question “Will the dog eat the dog food?” The Sales Funnel.

The farmer idea works best when you are trying to develop a path to the customer. The farmer plants seeds and wait for them to grow. That needs patience and planning. Making sales is a measurable process and lends itself to many different results that can be used as a way of judging progress.

Simply stated, the goal of the sales process is to have a repeatable process that can be followed everyday with good results.  To carry out this task you need to understand the sales funnel and fix yours.

Sales Funnels is like other business activity it needs planning. To achieve a wanted output you need a certain level and quality of (prospects). The numbers at the top of the funnel must consider your target – or preferably known – conversion rates through the funnel. Yeah that’s right, convert all the way through the process is what is necessary in today fast market.

Business owners have lost control of the sales process. Prospects want to shop; they don’t want to be sold. Understanding the performance of your sales funnel is absolutely key to driving the maximum revenue from your customers. Marketers place too much focus on selling the customer rather the move them through the funnel, yet acquisition can only drive revenue if those customers move smoothly, and more importantly, quickly through your sales funnel.

Listen marketing is what we teach. What is that? The time it take for your prospect to move smoothly through you sales funnel.  The relationship between conversion rates and lag times (the time it takes customers to convert) is critical in increasing profits. If the time it takes to move from one stage of your sales funnel to the next doubles, you will probably see a big drop in conversion.

Listen also helps increase conversion at your front-end by identifying where you lose customers. Okay, you need an example: one day you are surfing and you find a web site that says it has a fix to a problem that is bugging your business. All right, you start reading and it feels good to you. What do you do next? You travel down to the buy button and click on it.

Alas, the price for an e-book is $37.00. What is going through you mind at this point? Well you don’t trust or believe the amount can solve the problem that you are grappling with. The big guys call that “Cart Abandonment” How cute is that?

So, how do fix that process? Simply insert the price in the middle of the sales page. Of course, there is more to the complete process. But we are only giving you a taste. If you want know more download “The Copywriting Conspiracy” and read it.

Smartest Marketer In The Room-Know Your Testing

If you are new to game of internet marketing, September is the month to get down to business. In my honest opinion, testing is the single most important thing to grow your online business. There are three types of testing. “Split testing” sometimes called A/B testing”  “Multivariate testing” and “Flow testing”

We are going to show you how to do a split test using AWeber. If you don’t have an AWeber account then get one, because you are leaving money on the table. Bloggers you need to have a list if you expect make profits. Multivariate testing and flow testing you can look up and if you want to move in that direction, there is plenty of information on the internet on how to apply those.

So you have an ad that’s up and running. To get to this point you had to find a product, do some keyword research, and write an ad that you think will not only generate clicks, but will also generate sales. That’s great. If you’re doing that, you’re on the right track.

But you can do better. How? By split-testing.

Have you heard the gurus telling you that if you are not testing and tracking your campaigns, you doing what we call Wish Marketing. Well guess what – this is absolutely true.

When I started my internet marketing business, I was always thinking I can set the testing and tracking later, as soon as I start to make money.

And boy, I was so wrong! Okay enough talking about my mistakes. Check it out below:
