Howdy, seemingly some of you newbie’s are disappointed with the marketing gurus who give out the same old advice on how to become successful on the internet if you’re just getting started.  This is what it sounds like,

  • They give you a copy of their business model just follow it
  • All you have to do is copy what worked in the past
  • You don’t have to reinvent wheel

It turns out, I live in New York and down the road a bridge connects Manhattan to Brooklyn and I will give you a good price.

Here’s the deal: Under ideal circumstances, you can never know EVERYTHING about your competitors’ business models. You can look at their websites, their products offered, and their price points…

You can buy their products to look them over, get on their mailing lists, and you’ll learn a lot. But if you follow it to the letter does not mean you’ll be successful.

Immediately, the mind goes to work, I spent my  life in this business. The only jobs I have ever held have been in Sales and Marketing. And I got caught up in it also.

When I started in Internet Marketing I bought all the e-books and everything the so-called experts suggested and I didn’t make one dime. Let me be clear here. I didn’t make one sale, not one, until I stop following their advice and follow my own imagination.

And to make matters worse… Tried to position myself as an expert. If this sound familiar to you then stand up and take your medicine. I have been there. How can you be an expert without any street smarts? So don’t feel like a pregnant nun. I’m speaking from experience.

-But if you’ve been led to believe that ALL you have to do is mirror your competitors to be successful, you may be in for a tough time. Here is some free advice:

Model Someone Who TELLS you to add you personally to the business

People often ask me, well what should I do? Simple force yourself to control your imagination. You can sit at your computer and imagine just about anything, but you can’t always do what you can imagine.

I can imagine myself jumping off the Empire State Building and landing softly, but I can do it.

Keep in mind though, you could easily jump off the first floor and survive. When you read a sales letter imagine how that will fit into your personally and your budget. You need to understand whether the strategies will need some technical skill or cost you money to carry out.

First, who is most likely to share the “inside secrets” of their business with you? -People who are SELLING their expertise to you. They’re telling you to “model someone who is already successful” because they’re pointing to themselves as success stories, and want you to buy their marketing information so they can profit from it.

As you can see, that sounds simple enough to me. The smart thing to do here is send them an e-mail and ask some questions. How much I’m going to spend to get this project off the ground. And any other question to you might have about the product or information. If they don’t respond don’t buy from them.

At least, make sure that you tell them how strong you are technically. If a car salesman tells you how good a car rides do you take his word for it or do you test it out for you.

If you want to be successful you need to do things that have not been done before. Use your imagination and keep your radar up. But most importantly their business may have some ingredients that may be hidden to you on the outside looking in.  daily cash system
